BPR Structure And Implementation
The newly designed business process reengineering accommodates regulation of health service, health and health related institutions, health professionals, food and pharmaceuticals. It is believed that this redesign system will create accountability, responsibility, and bring efficient and effective administration and regulation system. From the analysis of the existing process problems and their cause and effect relationship were identified and finding were observed from regulation of health service, health and health related institutions, health professionals, food and pharmaceuticals. The new system that has been established and implemented will enable the organization to achieve its vision and mission, to satisfy customers/ stakeholders needs that bring radical and dramatic change at a minimum cost and in short cycle time.
General overview
The Ministry of Health is responsible for the quality of health service delivery throughout the country. The Ministry of Health hence, initiated a Business process Reengineering (BPR) in order to establish an efficient and effective Regulatory system at all levels. It has been believed that this redesign system will assist in meeting the public demands for accountability, responsibility, honesty and help dramatically change the complex and poor quality services. In order to maximize customers’ satisfaction the ministry has designed 6 health sector outcomes.
